For quick meal - baltic market, it is in the vicinity. We had suite with all the usual facilities.
Hotel staff were very friendly and very helpful - Adam Ramsden checked us in and provided excellent service. The rooms were large and we were very impressed with the overall apartment and location.
Apartment needs up grading or decorating carpets in the bedrooms are dirty. Lack of information regarding the roads been closed during our stay.
Suited 4 adult females on a busy weekend trip. tha e balconies overlooking the Marina, proximity to The Albert Dock and Echo Arena
No mirrors in bedrooms, no wardrobe in 2nd bedroom, 2nd bedroom v small as a double. Kitchen was damaged ( integral fridge door and some cupboard doors were very wobbly).

Bthrooms very small for a penthouse apartment NO instructions for heating The folder in room about apartments were not correct, they are generic ones for all apartments so did not help for specific apartment
Excellent pace to stay with family and friends.
We had a working oven for one day out of six, tumble drier @ dishwasher broken. Beds sagged in middle. Very noicy as no double glazing. We had to call the cleaner as the fridge was dirty ice box so iced it had split fridge door. No instruction on how to operate any goods and no sign of pat testing any electrical equipment, lamps in both bedrooms not working.
Nice views from the penthouse plenty of living space and bedrooms were quiet comfortable
Not enough information on where the apartments were, when we got the keys from the office we were told it was a 2 minute walk but we wandered around for an hour in freezing conditions until we found it.it would have made things easier if we were just told it was beside jurys!!
Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment at the south ferry quay in the docks.When driving to Liverpool had a phone call wanting to know time of arrival as would of emailed me but it was a late booking.(nice touch).When picking up the keys I asked about parking,paid £30.No need as free parking right outside the apartment and I had the money refunded.Nice modern apartment,all amenities with a lovely view of the marina.Did not use the car as it was a easy walk to the attractions,as parking was very expensive.(Did do a visit to Chester-recommended)

The apartment in South Ferry Quay was overlooking the marina with the cathedral in the background - sitting with the French doors open was great. It was so quiet. The amount of space made it excellent value for money and the envy of others staying in hotels. Would definitely stay again when visiting Liverpool.
Directions to find the apartment were a bit vague. The map gave directions to the Quay, but no mention that the block was called Mariners Way, Only after walking the whole length of South Ferry Quay did we realize that only the apartment number was relevant. A shame, as Mariners Way is the first block you come to! It was only when the key fitted, we were sure we had found the right place. Previously staying in other Base apartments, washing up liquid and tea towels have been provided. It would have been better if they had been or, at least, to have been told there was none.
The location and price
Having to go to different address for keys. Large deposit taken from account and not returned for six days.departure time.
I didn't like the opening hours of the office supplying the keys. I didn't like the parking ticket I got. I didn't like the fact the appliances didn't work and I didn't like the insects sharing the apartment with me.
there was nothing good about Base apartments. I will be making complaints to them and several other bodies including trading standards. the only word to use is appalling, we were moved to a different apartment after one night which was marginally better. I would say this company provides accomodation for drunken single sex groups who cannot get into a hotel.
everything....dirty,stained, stale cigarette smoke smell, broken, filthy, noisy, hot water ran out, lots of bits left behind from other guests, shoddy, hairs in bathroom and in sheets, cigarettes left behind, socks, a dirty hairbrush, crips crumbs, many lights bulbs out in lighting, flashing lights all night long in communal area i could go on..... was not told we had to collect keys from central office when booking then had to pack up and return them to collect more keys for second aprtment.
The location is ideal, close to Albert Dock and Liverpool One.
The room was not clean, there was hair all over the bathroom. The apartments are billed as "serviced apartments," but there was a sign in the kitchen informing us that if we did not clean, dry and put away the dishes, we would incur a fine - shocking. Also, no one cleaned the room / changed the sheets / etc during our entire stay. There were no bath towels in the apartment, only very small hand towels. There was no iron, and when we requested one, we were told someone would bring an iron and towels to our room. This person never appeared. The dishwasher was out of service. Half of the light bulbs in the apartment were burned out. All in all, it was a very disappointing experience and we consider it a very poor value for our money.
